Christmas with Scentsy

How does Scentsy fit in with Christmas?

Scentsy has amazing holiday scents for Fall and winter and all the new warmers.

Last week I had the scent Very marry Christmas melting in the warmer in the living room and my son said to me: Mom when I close my eyes it smells like Christmas. I too closed my eyes and I have to say that he was right it does smell like it.

We are holiday people even more now because we will be moving across State at the end of October. So we are missing Halloween. I started thinking about Christmas presents. With Scentsy I can't go wrong, because everybody loves it.

We also have a scent that is called Huckleberry Sage and it reminds me of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls. so this gave me the idea that I might get one for my daughter. With all those wonderful scents that Scentsy hast offer during the Fall/Winter season so many memories can come up.

Weihnachten mit Scentsy

Wie passt Scentsy ins Weihnachtsgeschaeft?

Scentsy hat nun ganz tolle Weihnachtsduefte fuer den Herbst/Winter und auch die entsprechend passende Waermer.

Die letzte Woche hatte ich Very Marry Christmas in unserem Waermer und mein Sohn sagte zu mir: Mama wenn ich meine Augen schliesse riecht es wie Weihnachten. Ich habe dann auch meine Augen geschlossen und ich muss gestehen er hat recht.

Wir sind sehr festlich eingestimmt und da wir ende Oktober in einen anderen Staat umziehen. Ich mache mir jetzt schon Gedanken wegen Weihnachtsgeschenken. Natuerlich kann ich jeden mit Scentsy gluecklich machen. 

Wir haben einen Duft der heisst Huckleberry Sage und dieser erinnert mich an eine Puppe die es in der USA gibt (Strawberry Stortcake). Diese Puppe riecht genauso.

Das gab mir die Idee das ich sehr wahrscheinlich eine fuerWeinachten holen. Mit den Dueften kommen sehr viele Weihnachteserinnerungen hoch und es erfreut mich immer wieder.

Hallo meine lieben Leser,

also ich muss euch jetzt mal was gestehen. Ich bin ja schon ne Weile bei Scentsy dabei und trotz allem bin ich aufgeregt wie an heilig Abend. Ich freue mich imer tierisch wenn ich sehe wann meine Bestellung kommt und kann dann schon Tage vorher nicht schlafen vor Aufgerung. Total verrueckt was?

Ein ganz neuer Waermer sind die Elementwaermer. Diese strahlen kein Licht aus. Du fragst dich bestimmt warum es kein Licht ausstrahlt, da dies ja mit Scentsy nun bekannt ist. Diese Elementwaermer sind fuers Schlafzimmer gedacht. Somit kannst du abends in Bett gehen und dein Schlafzimmer riecht immernoch nach deinem Lieblingsduft aber das Licht wird dich nicht stoeren. Ich finde diese auch toll fuers Buro. Denn sie sind klein und haben auch auf einem kleinen Schreibtisch genuegend Platz.

New Season and amazing new products

Scentsy started the Fall/Winter collection on the 1st and I am amazed about all the new products. Myself and the kids already have a list on all the things we want to get.
What is new for this season?

Scentsy is introducing us to the Lampshade collection.
Stunning and colorful hand-blown glass vases rest on antiqued warmer bases, projecting lustrous patterns and warm rays.

The next thing that stands out is how much Scentsy cares. Each season they have a cause warmer and this one hit home for me. The warmer is called SERVICE & SACRIFICE and $8 of each warmer sold will get donated to "The mission continues". My husband is in the military and so was my dad and his brothers. To be able to have such a great warmer at home and knowing part will get donated to a really good organisation is really priceless.

There are many more new warmers introduced in the catalog like the element warmers. The element warmers have no light bulbs. So no light will be visible. The heating element are tiny LED lights.
You might ask what is the point of a warmer that shines no light? Well these Element Warmers are designed for bedrooms and offices. Now you can melt your scents at night without getting disturbed by the light and still have your house smell amazing. I find them also very good in offices. The element warmers are smaller so use less space on a crowded desk :).

Oh I am so excited. I told you before that Scentsy will launch in Australia and Mexico as of September 1st. Now the even better news:
Scentsy will also launch in Poland September 1st and Spain and France will follow October 1st!!!

These are such amazing news. I have now the chance to expand m team in all those countries.

How do I get the wax out of my warmer?

I have been asked this question many times so I want to show you step by step how to get the wax out of your warmer.

There are 2 different ways to do so. 1 would be to pour the melted wax out of the warmer.
But what do I do when the wax is already hardened?

Well here is a step by step guide.

Step 1:
Grab a plastic fork or a spoon. I use the one from my kids set. Use a SMOOTH PLASTIC spoon so it will not scratch your top dish!

Step 2:
With the end of your plastic fork go to a corner and lift the wax.

Once you are under the wax just glide around it and it will come out in one whole piece. If that's not the case just start over at another end.

Step 4:
After the wax is out use a damp towel and clean out your dish.

Step 5:
Now it is all clean and you can put in new cubes for a new fresh smell :)

Wie bekomme ich den Wax aus dem Waermer?

Ich wurde schon sehr oft gefragt wie man den Wax aus dem Waermer bekommt um den Duft zu wechseln.

Es geben 2 Moeglichkeiten. Die 1. waere den Wax auszuschuetten wenn er noch fluessig ist.
Doch was macht man wenn der Wax wieder hart ist?

Hier zeige ich Dir Schritt fuer Schritt wie man den Wax aus dem Waermer bekommt ohne ihn zu beschaedigen.

Schritt 1:
Man benoetigt eine PLASTIK Gegenstand. Ich nehme immer eine Kindergabel aus Plastik.

Schritt 2:
Mit dem Ende der Plastikgabel in einer Ecke den Wax lockern.

Wenn der Wax sich hochheben laesst, denn mit dem Ende des Gegenstanes unter dem Wax entlanggehen und er hebt ich in einem Stueck auf. Wenn das mal nicht der fall sein soll, dann an einer anderen Ecke wieder von vorne anfangen.

4. Schritt:
Nachdem der Wax draussen ist mit einem feuchtem Tuch die Schale saeubern.

5. Schritt:
Danach ist dein Waermer fertig fuer einen neuen Duft!!!

I was so nervous both times even though I knew the answer lol : you are having a BABY.
Once you know if it will be a boy or a girl we all go crazy when it comes to shopping. We all buy things the baby will not even need (but at that time we are all like: Oh I need this).

Those are just such wonderful news and I am super excited.

Ich moechte Euch die tollen Neugikeiten von Scentsy mitteilen.
Auf der Scentsy Family Reunion (in der USA) wurde oeffentlich bekannt gegeben das es Scentsy ab dem 1. September in Australien und Mexiko geben wird.

WOW!!! 

Das sind echt wundervolle Neugigkeiten. Ich habe als Selbststaedige Beraterin jetzt auch die Moeglichkeit mir ein Team in diesen Laendern aufzubauen. Ist das nicht klasse??? Teammitgliedern in einem anderen Land haben und trotzdem hier zu Hause zu sein? Scentsy gibt uns diese Chance ohne jegliche Reisekosten. How safe is Scentsy with Kids!

I am getting this question ask quiet a bit.
So I decided to show people, rather than tell them, how safe Scentsy really is.

In this video you will see me and my kids. This video is in German so I will tell you a little what I am saying :).

Hi to all my Scentsy fans. My name is Debbie and here are my two kids Melissa and Christian (both will greet you as well) and I would like to talk to you about how safe Scentsy is with kids. We all know having candles in the house with little kids is a big NO NO, because you have the safety issue with open flames and and you won't have that this problem with Scentsy.
The little one here is our biggest Scentsy fan and when she sees the Scentsy Bars she wants to smell them right away. Melissa will smell on 2 bars and of course likes the scents lol. It is not harmful at all for kids if they have their little fingers in the bars. As you can see mine do it all the time. Our wax will not be burned it will only be heated so it melts. Even when you knock your warmer over of the kids wanting to dunk their fingers in the melted wax (mine always want all ten fingers in them they think it is all fun) they will not burn their fingers. I want to show you exactly that. So here you see our Gallery warmer and I am asking my son to put his finger in the melted wax. As you can see he is not screaming or saying his finger hurts. Then you see my little daughter do the same. So this shows you all that our wax is not hot and will not hurt your kids or animals.

A week ago Scentsy celebrated its 9th birthday.

I can't believe that Scentsy is 9 years old or I should say young already. I think it is just wonderful that even after all this time Scentsy is still growing and they surprise us every single time.

I can't wait to see what Scentsy has to offer the next years to follow.

With that I want to give a special shout out to every consultant and customer. Without all of you we would not be here today.

I am very proud of each and every one of you. My team who work on their business every day and have lots of fun with it. My customers who are always standing by my side and stay true to me. I have to say I bond with so many people and found some amazing friends throughout my time with Scentsy. I cherish you all!!

Vor einer Woche hat Scentsy in der USA seinen 9. Geburtstag gefeiert.

9 Jahre gibt es schon Scentsy und ich finde es unheimlich schoen das die Firma immer weiter waechst und und immer wieder von neuem ueberrascht.

Ich bin schon sehr gespannt was die weiten Jahren Scentsy uns schoenes bringt.

Auch moechte ich hier jedem Berater/in und all unseren Kunden danken. Ohne Euch alle waeren wir heute nicht hier.

Ich bin auch sehr stolz auf jeden einzelnen von euch. Mein Team, die jeden Tag an ihrem Geschaeft arbeiten und immer freude dran haben. Meine Kunden die mir immer zur Seite stehen und mir treu bleiben. Ich habe viele Freundschaften entwickelt ueber die Jahre und diese sind mir sehr ans Herz gewachsen!

I want to take the time today to let you know about July's special. This month is absolutely amazing for all Scentsy fans.

I will start of with the Warmer and Scent of the month.

The Warmer of the month is the Lighthouse warmer.
I am in love with this warmer and now we are fighting in our family where this one will get his special place. A lot of customers requested a lighthouse warmer and Scentsy listened to them and here it is:

The Lighthouse Warmer also has a lid which makes it look complete. Here you can see a picture of all the parts:

The Scent of the month is Watermelon Mint and I have to say it is amazing. You smell more the Watermelon and the Mint is just giving it a little more kick. It is truly a fresh summer scent.

The other special we have going on is Bring Back My Bars. Consultants and customers were able to vote for their favorite bar to come back one more time of 1 month. So these 20 scents are only available for this month so hurry and stock up on your favorite one. here is the list of the scents:

Waermer der Saison Sommer/Herbst 2013

Scentsy stellt Ihnen ab heute einen neuen Waermer vor.

"Green Thumb"

Dieser Waermer ist einfach wunderschoen. Green Thumb kann man sich ueberall hinstellen. Sei es auf der Fensterbank im Wohnzimmer bei den Blumen oder in der Kueche. Der Fantasie sind keine Grenzen gesetzt.

Mit dem neuen Waermer kommt auch ein neuer Duft hinzu. Bora Bora Blossom. Wir bekommen diesen Duft leider nicht in er USA und ich bin neugirig was ihr davon haltet. Schreibt mir einfach eine email und beschreibt in euren eigenen Worte nach was dieser Duft riecht und an was er euch erinnert.

Diese sind ab heute 01.07.2013 erhaeltlich und nur solange der Vorrat reicht. Wenn

This is how your job interview could sound!

Have you ever thought about how your job interview could sound when you want the same thing Scentsy is offering you?

Now imagine the following scenario:
You applied for a job and got called in for a job interview. You are very excited already and when your boss asks you what your compensation should be you tell him the following:

1. I want to get 25% commission of all the sales I am doing and if I am really good I want an
    additional 5%.
2. I want all the things I buy 20-30% cheaper of the retail price!
3. I want to hire all my friends and family
4. I would also like to train them myself and get commission of their sales!
5. You should give me the opportunity to hire within the USA and parts of Europe.
6. If I reach all goals I would like to be rewarded with a trip like to Mexico.
7. You should give me the chance to move up within the company immediately and not like after
   months and years

Oh and one more thing....I would like to come and go as I want. I have a family and I like to be there for them at all times.


What would the employer sat about that?????
Probably something like: "This sound all fun and games. Whenever you FIND this job call me and I QUIT right away."

Well THIS job exists already and it is called being a Independent Scentsy Consultant!

So koennte Ihr Vorstellungsgespraech ablaufen!

Haben Sie sich schon mal ueberlegt wie sich ein Vorstellungsgespraech anhoeren koennte, wenn Sie das gleiche wollen das Scentsy Ihnen anbietet?

Stellen Sie sich folgendes vor:
Sie haben sich fuer eine Verkaufsstelle beworben und haben auch ein Vorstellungsgespraech bekommen. Sie freuen sich schon riesig drauf und als der Chef Sie fragt was stellen Sie sich denn vor, was Ihr Gehalt sein sollte sagen Sie:

1. Ich moechte gerne 25% Provision von allem was ich verkaufe und 5% mehr wenn ich sehr gut
    verkaufe
2. Ich moechte bitte alles was ich hier kaufen moechte auch 20-30% guenstiger bekommen
3. Auch moechte ich meine Familie und Freunde einstellen koennen und von ihnen profitieren!
4. Ich moechte meine Leute selber trainieren.
5. Mir sollte die Chance gegeben sein in der USA und innerhalb der EU neue Kunden und
    Mitarbeiter einzustellen.
8. Wenn ich gut bin, dann moechte ich auch die Moeglichkeit haben tolle Reisen zu gewinnen!
9. Aufstiegsmoeglichkeiten sollten mir jederzeit zur Verfuegung stehen und nicht erst nach ein paar
    Monaten oder einem Jahr!

Ach und noch was.....Ich moechte gerne kommen und gehen koennen wann immer ich moechte. Ich habe eine Familie und ich will immer fuer die da sein koennen.

Was wuerde ein Chef hier wohl sagen?????
Bestimmt solches: "Ja ist ja alles schoen und gut. Wenn sie DIESEN Job gefunden haben rufen Sie bitte MICH an und ich kuendige sofort!"

So ein Job gibt es jetzt schon und der heisst Selbstsaendige Scentsy BeraterIn!!!

Do you remember when.....

Scentsy can bring back so many wonderful memories.

I think all of us, or I should say most of us, said this scentance at least once in our lives when we entered a room "I recognize this scent and it reminds me when...". This is how it works with Scentsy as well. For example when I smell the Scent Kahiko Hula it reminds me of a sumer vacation that I took with my parents when I was a littlekid. We travelled to Majorca (a spanish island).

Then there are our corner cafe scents and those remind me when mom used to bake all the Christmas cookies :)

I have to be honest the scent that will give me the most amazing memories is the Newborn
Newborn scent. This one reminds me of the baby powder I used with both of my kids. I still use this Scent Pak in the Lenny baby buddy.

I find this a wonderful feature of Scentsy that it will wake up so many forgotten memories. I am always so curious about the new Scents when they come out to see what memories I will have with those.
